Dr. Ashkan Malayeri

Ashkan A. Malayeri, MD, is a Body Radiologist at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, where he serves as the chief of the body imaging section overseeing the MRI, CT, Ultrasound, and diagnostic X-Ray operations. Dr. Malayeri also holds a position as Adjunct Professor in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he continues to participate in resident and fellow education, providing lectures and case conferences. He is actively involved in several radiological societies and serves as an associate editor for the journal Radiology. Dr. Malayeri’s research involves the optimization of MRI and CT techniques for clinical problem-solving.
